The American Computer Science League (ACSL) organizes computer science and programming contests for K-12 students. In 2020-21, over 5,000 students from across the world participated in the monthly competitions.
ACSL offers multiple divisions (Senior, Intermediate, Junior, Classroom, and Elementary), providing an appropriate challenge for students of varying ages and abilities. All divisions have a Theory portion, testing students on fundamental concepts in computer science, ranging from Number Systems to Boolean Algebra to Digital Electronics. ACSL Raise Exam Scores is a unique and valuable resource for students, schools, and organizations seeking to improve their performance in computer science and programming competitions. The material is organized into "courses," each of which covers multiple years for one division, either the Theory tests or the Coding problems since the 2010-11 season. Registration for a course provides unlimited access to the material for a period of 9 months.
